In 1839, the partnership of T. J. & J. Smith was formed in London and started producing high quality leather bound books and other leather products. Over the years, the partnership, and its brand Leathersmith of London, developed a reputation worldwide for the quality of their products.
The Azure Series of diaries, address and social books was first introduced in 1928 using the distinctive English made blue paper and soft finished cross grained Rutland leather. It is for this range of products, made in the UK with the skill of British craftsmanship, that the Leathersmith of London brand has become renowned around the world. |
